{"id":881,"date":"2024-02-13T13:06:31","date_gmt":"2024-02-13T04:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jsaf.or.jp\/jmya\/?page_id=881"},"modified":"2024-02-13T17:20:13","modified_gmt":"2024-02-13T08:20:13","slug":"%e6%a8%a1%e5%9e%8b%e3%83%a8%e3%83%83%e3%83%88%e3%81%ae%e4%b8%96%e7%95%8c-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jsaf.or.jp\/jmya\/?page_id=881&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"The world of model yachts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group contents_group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading head_reverse\">About model yachts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two pleasures in model yachts: &#8220;building a boat (modeler)&#8221; and &#8220;competing in a competition (competitor).&#8221; Both are managed based on &#8220;rules.&#8221; Some of our members are both modelers and competitors on their own, and some have achieved top-class competition results in Japan with their own boats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group contents_group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading head_reverse\">Model sailing as a competitive sport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Figure 1 shows the organizational chart of competitive sailing, with World Sailing (WS) at the top.<br>The model yacht section at WS is overseen by the International Radio Sailing Association (IRSA). IRSA has the IOM, Marblehead (M), Ten Rater (10R), and A Class classes as international classes for model yachts, and ICA (IOMICA, IMCA, ITCA) has been established for IOM, M, and 10R.
