Rules: The Deed of Gift, the SCIRA Rules, the SCIRA Rules of Conduct for Conducting National and International Championship Regattas, the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2005-2008 ISAF, the Sailing Instructions and the Notice of Race shall be in effect. In an event of a conflict between the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instruction, the Sailing Instruction will take precedence.

Official Language: English shall be the official language used at the regatta.

Advertising: The regatta is classified as Category C in accordance with the SCIRA Advertising Prescription.

Entry and Eligibility: This regatta is open to SCIRA registered boats subject to the Deed of Gift trophy restriction. Skippers and crews must be members of SCIRA.

Registration: A completed entry form for each competitor shall be sent by each national secretary with a copy of valid SCIRA members card by June 23, 2005. The entry fee is US$350/boat (+bank fees) and is also due on June 23, 2005. Overdue registration and/or unregistered boat (sail number) & member with SCIRA will NOT be accepted.

Measurement: Measurement is scheduled from Saturday through Sunday July 23-24, 2005, 10:00-17:00 at a depot of Kaiyoh Yacht Harbor. All boats will be weighted and measured according to SCIRA rules and inspected for safety equipment and decals. For those with own boats and privately chartered boats, valid measurement certificate must be submitted. All boats are subject to additional measurement at any time at the reasonable discretion of the race committee. All boats shall have a 2005 SCIRA Decal properly displayed.

Sailing Instruction: Sailing Instruction will be available on the regatta website, or at a registration on July 23-24(10:00-17:00), 2005.

Courses:
Official SCIRA courses for National and International Championship will be used.

Black Flag: RRS Rules 30.3 shall not been used in this regatta.

Scoring: The SCIRA Low Point System will be used.
11 races are planned and at lease 3 races shall be completed to constitute the regatta.1 race can be dropped when more than 6 races are completed.2 races can be dropped when 9 or more races are completed.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the skipper and crew for the top 8 places.
The Commodore Hub E. Isaacks Trophy-awarded to the fleet of the winning skipper.
The OfLeary Trophy-awarded to the crew of the winning team.
The Earl Elms Perpetual Trophy-awarded to the fleet of the winning skipper of the final race.
A daily first prize-awarded to the skipper and crew of the winning team of each race.

Chartering Boats: The application will be available on the regatta web site. The form shall be filled out and sent to snipeworld2005@jsaf.or.jp by each national secretary. Due date is June 23, 2005.

1.50 A class or equivalent boats will be prepared for teams from abroad
2. Charter boats will be supplied on a first-come basis. Condition of a boat, name of an owner and his/her contact information will be informed to each national secretary.
3. Cost for chartering is US$500/boat and shall be paid with Insurance cost $200 by national secretary. Chartering period is July 19-July 30.

Boats Transportation: The nearest port to the venue is Nagoya Port. Transportation can be arranged with carrying companies in the case of using the port. Application and inquiries are available before April 1, 2005: e-mail to snipeworld2005@jsaf.or.jp

Housing Information: Initial information on housing will be available on our web site by the end of November 2004.

Hospitality and Social: ID cards are needed when attending all events (ID Cards will be handed at the registration to all competitors) Extra ID cards for all events are available for guests with an additional cost.

1) Meals (July 25-30)
-Breakfasts are included for competitors and registered committee members.
-Dinners (all parties) are Included for competitors and registered committee members.(Need to apply previously)
**Meals are available anytime at the restaurant in the clubhouse during the regatta.

2) Transportation
Limos between Chubu International Airport and Hotels are prepared. The application is together with a hotel reservation form on our web site.

3) Tourism
A tour for the 2005 World Exposition is planned for the applicant on July 31. After the tour, there will be Fireworks at seaside of Gamagori-city. 4) Facilities
There are locker and shower rooms (free of charge) at the clubhouse.
